Kemp began his career in Telecommunication in 1982 after a successful career in the International Theatrical Movie Distribution and Domestic Television Syndication industry. He has held various corporate and regional positions with major multi-system cable operators including TCI, Masada Corporation, Marcus Cable and Charter Communications. He has worked with some of the largest Telecom companies since 1999 beginning with AT&T and moving to Qwest and Bellsouth/ AT&T. Positions include Director of Marketing, Regional Operations Manager, District Sales and Marketing Manager and Senior Level Business Account Manager.

Kemp has a BA in Communications from the University of Colorado and is an aviation and automotive enthusiast.

Jim’s career in telecommunications started in 1981 after serving in the military in Viet Nam and Germany and employed as an Air Traffic Controller for the Federal Aviation Administration.  Over a span of 25 plus years Jim has been vice president of telecommunications for a national insurance company; started a successful telecommunications subsidiary to capitalize on opportunities presented after the break up of AT&T and the Bell Operating companies; headed up a division of a regional long distance company; president and owner of a telecommunications equipment and services company, branch manager for a regional telecommunications equipment and services company and most recently heading up the telecommunications division of Abacus Information Technology Solutions.

Jim has a bachelor of business administration – BBA from Faulkner University and is an aircraft owner and enthusiastic aviator.
